KAYA WANJU
hello & welcome
Mardaa means Ochre in the Nyungar language. Ochre is a pigment of the land, holding deep cultural significance for First Nations Peoples and connecting them to Boodja.
For tens of thousands of years, ochre has been used in Indigenous life, culture and art.
For us, it reflects how we are grounded in culture, driven by purpose and proudly majority Aboriginal-owned.
majority Indigenous-owned
& Aboriginal-led
Established in 2023, Mardaa grew from our founders’ shared vision to create an Indigenous-owned and operated business that opens pathways for organisations to yarn, work and walk alongside mob in genuine, purposeful ways.
We support corporate, healthcare, government and community clients in meeting their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals, fulfilling Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) obligations, and honouring their Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) commitments.
our commitment to integrity
Mardaa is Supply Nation Certified, verifying that we are a majority Indigenous-owned and operated business. We’re also verified by the Indigenous Business Integrity Register (IBIR), ensuring our projects truly benefit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The impact of choosing to work with us directly extends to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-led initiatives we champion through the Mardaa Fund.
