THOUGHTFULLY DESIGNED FROM THE GROUND UP

sharing stories of the land with every step

A space that is often underestimated in uplifting branded environments is the floor beneath us and the subtle power of an eye-catching rug. Bespoke designs can be combined with culture and traditional stories to create surfaces that flow naturally, guide people gently and share knowledge about the place you’re walking on.

Country-led carpet tiles for civic,
education & corporate environments

We create Country-led designs for architects and designers to embrace the Aboriginal concept of Country through their work across a variety of industries. The process is guided by Aboriginal people who know if we care for Country, it will care for us. As a majority-owned Aboriginal company, choosing to work with us engages local communities, builds relationships with First Nations artists, and empowers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples with proceeds going directly to the Mardaa Fund.

Country
(Boodja)

Kevin’s Boodja design honours the unbreakable bond between land, people and the ancestral wisdom that has existed for over 60,000 years. His design borrows the colour palette of the land, including burnt sienna, ochre, charcoal and sand. He utilises elements like speckled dot formations and ceremonial patterns that have been passed down through generations.

Modern living room with a gray sofa, round wooden table, and laptop. The carpet has a subtle swirling pattern.

Darling Ranges
(Kaata Morda)

Kaata Morda represents the Dreaming story of the Waagyl (Rainbow Serpent) in the creation of the Darling Ranges. The design weaves sinuous patterns and contours to depict the Waagyl’s movements that shaped the land. Incorporating this design invites visitors to engage with a cultural story deeply connected to a place they may be discovering for the first time.

Dark blue carpet with large concentric circle patterns in lighter blue and white. The design adds a dynamic, modern feel to the space.

Waterholes
(Ngamaa)

Paying tribute to the waterholes and sacred songlines woven throughout Nyungar Country, Ngamaa carries stories, songs and knowledge of spiritual Ancestors. Bringing a strong sense of place, this design turns each carpet tile into a vessel for story. Capture the rhythms and journeys of Country through flowing linework, waterhole motifs and textures.
